Thermadyne make bag in-bag out filter housings, are side loading filter housings that have been designed to meet the air filtration needs of industries and research facilities that handle hazardous or toxic, biological, radiological, and carcinogenic material. To eliminate exposure to this harmful contamination while replacing and handling used filters, the housing incorporates a bag in-bag out ring, over which a heavy duty plastic bag is attached. Once the initial filters are installed with bag attached, all filters, both used and new, are handled through the bag, hence the name of the equipment is named as Bag in-Bag out. Depending upon the user’s requirements, the housing may have an assortment of filter arrangements, including the prefilters, HEPA filters, and/or carbon adsorbers. No matter what types of filters are contained within the housing, the filter change out procedure is the same.
